Privacy Policy
In short: This app has no sign-up and never sends your ledger entries, diary notes or photos to the developer or any other server. To show ads, Google AdMob may collect device information such as your advertising ID.
1. Personal information we collect
The developer does not directly collect or keep personal information such as names, contact details or accounts. Your ledger records are never sent to the developer.
2. Where your records are stored
- Income and expense entries, notes, moods, budgets, categories, recurring items and calculator settings are stored only in the app’s storage on your phone.
- Photos you add to your wishlist are resized on your phone and stored only in the same app storage. They are never uploaded. Backup files include these photos.
- If you delete the app or clear its data, your records are deleted too, and the developer cannot recover them for you.
- Backup files created with “Back up now” are kept wherever you choose to save or share them (for example your phone storage, a messenger or cloud storage). You are responsible for managing those files.
3. Features that use the internet
- Live exchange rates: When you open the currency calculator, the app connects to ExchangeRate-API (open.er-api.com) to get exchange rates. Standard connection information such as your IP address may be visible to that service, but your ledger records are never sent. (ExchangeRate-API terms)
- App screens and font files are downloaded on first launch and stored on your phone, so the app works without an internet connection afterwards.
4. Ads (Google AdMob)
- The Android app shows a Google AdMob banner ad at the bottom of the screen.
- To serve ads, measure ad performance and prevent fraud, Google may collect and process device identifiers such as the advertising ID, IP address (used to estimate approximate location), usage information such as app launches and ad taps, and diagnostic information. This data is encrypted in transit.
- See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone settings (Google → Ads, or Privacy → Ads). In regions that require consent, such as the EU, the app shows a consent screen, and you can change your choice in Settings → About this app → Ad privacy settings.
- Your ledger records, notes and wishlist photos are never used for ads and are not sent to Google.
5. Permissions
The app does not request camera, contacts, location or similar phone permissions. It only reads files you pick yourself when restoring a backup or choosing a wishlist photo. For ads, the app includes internet access and advertising ID permissions.
6. How to delete your records
- In the app: Settings → Data Reset → “Clear All Data”
- To remove everything: clear the app’s data in your phone settings, or uninstall the app
7. Children’s privacy
This app is intended for users aged 18 and over and does not request personalized ads directed at children.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, for example because of a new feature, the updated policy and its effective date will be posted on this page together with the app update.
